This 689-acre park, opened in September 2002, includes an entrance road, open meadow, parking, mountain bike and hiking trails, an 18th century graveyard and the  Williamsburg Botanical "Ellipse Garden."
Chickahominy Riverfront Park

Come enjoy this 140-acre outdoor facility located on the Chickahominy River. This site has an area for every member of your family. Facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, boat ramp, fishing pier, a small driving range, a pavillion, and a small store and access to the Virginia Capital Trail in December 2006. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset daily. The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, weekends only until June 19
Greensprings Greenway Interpretive Trail
3751 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, VA 23185
This three-mile soft surface hiking trail with 600 foot of boardwalk over open wetlands incorporates an interpretive program that educates trail users by linking historical events with natural features. Trail signs provide hikers with an opportunity to retrace the footsteps of Native Americans and early colonists and to imagine what life would have been like in the New World wilderness. Parking is currently available during non-school hours at Jamestown High School tennis courts.
Powhatan Creek Park

This one acre facility is part of the Chesapeake Gateways Network and provides access to the James River at Jamestown Island, including scenic views of Historic Jamestowne. Powhatan Creek is listed on the Natural Resources Inventory as the most biodiverse creek on the peninsula.

Originally opened in 1986 as the James City/Williamsburg Recreation Center at 33,000 square feet the Center was expanded in 1997 and underwent a transformation from a recreation center to a place for the entire community.

Come to this 19-acre facility that has something for the whole family. For the adults, enjoy lighted recreation areas including softball and baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, as well as sand volleyball courts. Enjoy the paved 2/3 mile ADA accessible multi-use path that encircles the park.
