Living Bible Museum Bible Walk
Ohio’s only life-size wax museum takes you back to biblical times and into some of the Old and New Testament’s most beloved stories. See Daniel in the lion’s den, witness Moses part the Red Sea, or get a glimpse of Noah’s ark. Scenes from Jesus’ birth, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension are also depicted.

The Kingwood Center
Mansfield’s 47-acre Kingwood Center is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature. A number of excellent gardens make up the center, including: peony, historic, herb, rose, daylily and iris, parterre, perennial, terrace and woodland gardens. Those with a keen interest in gardening and planting will also want to check out the trial and cutting beds, seasonal displays and the outstanding greenhouses.

Malabar Farm State Park and Museum
Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield turned his dream into reality when he built the house and farm at what is now Malabar Farm State Park and Museum. Visitors can tour the 32-room Big House year-round, or take a wagon tour of the farm from May through October. The park’s other activities include camping, hiking, picnicking, fishing, sledding, ice-skating and cross-country skiing.

Deer Ridge Golf Club
Take in the breathtaking view from the first tee, and you know you’ve arrived at a special place. Deer Ridge Golf Club is a 6,584-yard, 18-hole challenge for golfers of all levels, with plenty of doglegs, undulating greens, elevation changes and tree-lined fairways to keep you on your toes. A golf shop and snack bar are on the grounds as well.

Historic Carrousel District
Downtown Mansfield’s quaint, charming Carrousel District takes its name from the first hand-carved carrousel to be built and operated in the United States since the 1930s at Richland Carrousel Park. Seek out some great shops and restaurants along brick pathways, or listen to Symphony Orchestra at Renaissance Theatre. A delightful way to spend the day!
