In the heart of southwestern Montana's Rocky Mountains, just 90 miles north of Yellowstone National Park, Bozeman is a centralized location for year-round outdoor recreation, culture and education. The Bridger, Gallatin and Tobacco Root mountains that surround the community provide some of the worlds best skiing, hiking, camping, biking, rafting, climbing, fly fishing, and kayaking. And for all the ski bunnies, snow buffs and fishing fanatics, the Wingate Inn has the perfect spot to enjoy the winter weather and activities. The Wingate Inn of Bozeman is only minutes from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort, Big Sky Ski Resort, Moonlight Basin, and seven of the nations blue ribbon trout streams.

Of course, not everyone likes to ski or fish, but that is okay as Bozeman also features a broad variety of entertainment options such as theaters, concerts, art galleries, boutiques and others. For starters, the Emerson Cultural Center (ECC) is dedicated to promoting artistic and cultural development by being the home to an eclectic group of galleries, art studios and performance groups. In the galleries and studios, visitors may view and purchase the latest works of local artists and crafts people, while throughout the year, ECC theater performances include everything from jazz to Community Theater.

For museum buffs, there is the Museum of the Rockies, Gallatin County Pioneer Museum and The American Computer Museum, which was the winner of the 1994 Dibner Award for Excellence in Exhibits of the History of Technology and Culture. This museum, which has been featured in the New Yorker Magazine, New York Times, PC Week and others, invites you to experience the story of computers and technology in a unique timeline museum approach.

Finally, let us not forget some of the local restaurants and breweries, such as Ferraro's Fine Italian, Montana Ale Works, and McKenzie River Pizza Company for dining and fun after a long day on the slopes, in the museums or walking the town. As the local motto states: "Bozeman - it is good for the heart and soul."
